Job summary

Fairchild Equipment, Inc. is expanding its sales team in Bloomington, MN. The Sales Representative will grow market share by selling new and used forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse products while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires 3+ years outside B2B sales, 2+ years forklift sales preferred, and a high level of initiative. This is a full-time, exempt, outside sales position with an 80% travel expectation within the region.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of forklift sales experience preferred.
• 3+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience required.
• Knowledge of forklift/heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing business while actively developing new customer relationships in the assigned territory.
• Sell new and used forklifts, material handling equipment, warehouse products, and related solutions.
• Establish, develop, and strengthen long-term relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Promote and sell Yale and Hyster product lines and secure customer orders.
• Assess customer needs and demonstrate products and solutions that meet operational requirements.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and other sales materials for customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and account information using CRM software.
