Job summary

BMH is seeking a Forklift/Material Handling Equipment Sales Representative to drive growth across the United States. You will promote forklifts and related equipment to a diverse client base, assess needs, and recommend solutions that boost operational efficiency.

Collaborate with service, parts, and finance teams to deliver seamless solutions and build lasting relationships. This hunter role targets territory expansion and achievement of sales targets with salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent; business/marketing degree preferred but not required.
• Sales experience in industrial equipment or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers via cold calling, networking, and events.
• Assess client needs and recommend forklifts and material handling solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales while ensuring profitability and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with service and parts to deliver, install, and support equipment.
• Maintain CRM records of sales activities and pipeline status.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide expert advice.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
