New Balance in California is seeking Retail Sale Associates to ensure stores run smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service. You will apply product knowledge and proven selling techniques to assist customers throughout each transaction, reflecting the New Balance brand.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays, strong communication, and teamwork. You’ll help keep the floor organized, process sales, and participate in promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• People person with strong customer focus.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Able to do basic math.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with support; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and the GUEST service model.
• Measure and fit customers with NB products.
• Inform customers about promotions.
• Keep the sales floor neat, organized and well stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and correctly priced.
• Protect products by tagging and monitoring floor merchandise; report shrinkage and security issues.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
