Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, re-assessment, discharge planning, and interprofessional coordination to improve patient outcomes. Requires licensed OT and CPR; travel may be involved. Hourly pay range is $53.00–$56.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s experience as an OT.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving/lifting up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Health screen may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Reassess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
