Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home and community settings. You will work independently within a collaborative team, expanding care beyond traditional clinics into real-life activities.

The role emphasizes evaluating and planning treatment, re-assessing progress, and coordinating with families, physicians, and other disciplines to maximize patient independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice OT in the governing state.
• CPR certification is current.
• At least 1 year of OT work experience is required.
• Knowledge of rehab techniques for complex neurological diagnoses is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
