Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Florence, SC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a PRN role delivering functional rehabilitation in home and community settings. The OT conducts evaluations, develops treatment plans, and adapts plans to real-life environments such as kitchens, stores, and workplaces.

The role offers a flexible schedule, hourly pay, driving/mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative therapy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer up to 100 pounds.
• Standing/walking for extended periods; multiple physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
