Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking experienced RN candidates for on-site shifts at a county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, NY. You would carry a resident assignment and direct LPNs and CNAs on your unit, serving as charge nurse when assigned.

Compensation ranges from $52.00 to $58.00 per hour, paid weekly, with nights and weekends at the top of the range. This W-2 per diem role offers tuition assistance up to $1,500/year toward your BSN, license renewal

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
• One year of recent RN experience.
• BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry a resident assignment: assessments, medication administration, treatments, and responding to changes in condition.
• Direct the LPNs and CNAs on your unit, and serve as charge nurse for your unit when assigned.
• Keep the record current: MDS-related documentation, care plan updates and shift reports in the facility's system.
• Be the point of contact for residents, families and providers during your shift.
• Follow the facility's infection control, safety and sign-in practice.
