Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking an experienced RN to join a county-operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, NY. You will carry a resident assignment, direct LPNs and CNAs, and assume charge nurse duties as needed on days, evenings or nights.

This W-2 per diem role offers $52.00 to $58.00 per hour, weekly pay, and the flexibility to set your own shifts, with tuition assistance up to $1,500 a year toward a BSN.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR).
• One year of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry a resident assignment: assessments, medication administration, treatments, and responding to changes in condition.
• Direct the LPNs and CNAs on your unit, and serve as charge nurse for your unit when assigned.
• Keep the record current: MDS-related documentation, care plan updates and shift reports in the facility's system.
• Be the point of contact for residents, families and providers during your shift.
• Follow the facility's infection control, safety and sign-in practice.
