Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking an experienced RN for an on-site shift-based role at a 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, NY. You will manage resident care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and lead the unit during your shift with leadership on site.

Compensation is $52.00–$58.00 per hour, paid weekly, with up to $1,500/year tuition assistance toward your BSN. Three shifts offer flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits through CLFC University.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR).
• One year of recent RN experience.
• Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen.
• Current immunizations required for nursing home personnel.

Responsibilities

• Carry a resident assignment: assessments, medication administration, treatments, and responding to changes in condition.
• Direct the LPNs and CNAs on your unit, and serve as charge nurse for your unit when assigned.
• Keep the record current: MDS-related documentation, care plan updates and shift reports in the facility's system.
• Be the point of contact for residents, families and providers during your shift.
• Follow the facility's infection control, safety and sign-in practice.
