Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist for our Therapy Services Supplemental Pool to help patients regain mobility and achieve rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing individualized plans, providing hands-on therapy, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team. A licensed PT with wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• 2 years clinical experience preferred; wound care experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional outcomes.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercise programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery strategies, and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
