Job summary

WakeMed is seeking a Wound Care RN to work in the Raleigh Outpatient Wound Care Center. You will collaborate closely with physical therapists, physicians, and advanced practice providers to implement and coordinate individualized wound care plans for patients within the community setting.

The role requires an RN license, a minimum of 5 years nursing experience, and preference for wound care experience. A hospital-based PFCC model and adherence to nursing standards are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Hyperbaric oxygen chamber experience/interest a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and APNs to provide wound care in the Raleigh OP Wound Care Center.
• Coordinate patient care plans and serve as patient/family advocate within the care team.
• Support WakeMed's PFCC model and adhere to ANA nursing standards and practice act.
