Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, create and implement treatment plans and educate on assistive devices. The role spans Acute Therapy Services and Rehab Hospital, serving adults and pediatric populations, with minimum shift availability in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool.

The candidate will document results, adjust plans as needed and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish/implement treatment plans with functional goals.
• Provide patient education and therapeutic interventions/activities.
• Educate patients on use of assistive devices and mobility aids.
• Observe, evaluate and document treatment results; modify plans as needed.
• Work in Acute Therapy Services (Raleigh/Cary) and Rehab Hospital; serve adults and pediatrics.
