WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, create and implement treatment plans and educate on assistive devices. The role spans Acute Therapy Services and Rehab Hospital, serving adults and pediatric populations, with minimum shift availability in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool.

The candidate will document results, adjust plans as needed and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in Raleigh, NC.

Formación

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

Overview

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly. The Option 5 Physical Therapist will work in all both of the following settings of care: Acute Therapy Services (Raleigh/Cary) and Rehab Hospital. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues, as well as post-surgical orthopedics, cardiac, multi-trauma and debility for both adult and pediatric populations. This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.
