WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to perform evidence-based treatments under a supervising PT. You'll address diverse patient needs across Acute Therapy Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital and Outpatient Rehab, supporting functional goals and patient education.

Requires Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid PTA license, with at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Formación

• Associate's Degree Physical Therapy Required
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Required
• 2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Required
• Work in Acute Therapy Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital and Outpatient Rehab.
• This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.

Responsabilidades

• The Physical Therapy Assistant implements evidence-based and effective treatment interventions under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Observes, evaluates and documents the results of treatment interventions and discusses any needed treatment plan adjustments with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides education to patients related to mobility, safety and equipment or assistive device use.
