Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist for our Therapy Services Supplemental Pool to help patients regain mobility and achieve rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing individualized plans, providing hands-on therapy, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team. A licensed PT with wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• 2 years clinical experience preferred; wound care experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's degree preferred.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery strategies, and the use of assistive devices.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with patients requiring wound care management is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills.
