Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a with the freedom to pick your schedule. Competitive hourly pay and flexible options let you build a meaningful, patient-centered schedule.

Requires Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in last 4 years, BLS/ACLS, TB test and vaccination or exemption. Per diem roles offer daily/weekly pay and locally supportive teams.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in the last 4 years.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months or as required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes, respond promptly.
• Administer meds and IV therapies per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and infection control.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
