First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. 7a-7p and 7p-7a options let you build a schedule that fits your life.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2 years of recent PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, QuantiFERON-TB in the past year, and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Per diem pay is competitive with flexible weekly pay and mobile scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
