Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking a PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts offered include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with flexible scheduling and local staffing support.

Per diem pay is competitive, with options to pick up one shift or build a fuller schedule, plus daily and weekly pay options. Candidates must hold a Virginia RN license, have 2 years of recent PCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS along with additional facility credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold testing completed.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility credentials may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Document patient status and care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
