Job summary

Montgomery County Community College is seeking a Part-Time Student Services Assistant to support both new and returning students. You will staff the Welcome Desk, assist Enrollment Services, and provide in-person and back-office support across multiple touchpoints, including Self-Service systems to promote student success.

Hours are 25 per week (up to 29 during peak times), with a primary office at the Pottstown campus and travel across campuses as needed. A flexible work option is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 3 years related experience OR Associate degree with 1–2 years related experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and basic software usage.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the Student Services Welcome Desk and the Enrollment Services team.
• Provide front-line customer service to students at the Welcome Desk and via various channels.
• Assist with back-office duties and data entry in Self-Service systems.
• Travel between campuses and off-site locations as needed; primary location is the Pottstown campus.
