Job summary

Sorenson Communications in Reno, NV is seeking an installer/trainer to help customers use CaptionCall phones in their homes. This part-time role combines hands-on installation with personalized training so customers can communicate with confidence.

The position offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, devices provided, and growth opportunities, with additional benefits including insurance and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer service.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Able to tailor services to individual customers’ needs.
• Reliable, organized, and punctual; able to work independently.
• Able to adapt to changing environments and schedules.
• Experience working with senior citizens is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones in customers’ homes.
• Courteously train customers on phone usage and features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service to customers.
• Assist with lead generation as needed.
• Support CaptionCall activities and help expand the business reach.
• Meet or exceed installation/trainer goals set by management.
• Complete service calls and maintain accurate records.
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and prepare phones from former customers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies for service.
