Job summary

Sorenson Communications invites an in-home, part-time Installer/Trainer who is passionate about helping people with hearing loss stay connected. You will install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones, and you will train customers on how to use the device and its features.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong English communication, and the ability to travel up to 25% while working evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in the hearing health field.
• Experience working with senior citizens.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Reliable, organized, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to aid local installations and events.
• Complete service calls as assigned and maintain customer records.
