Job summary

Capella University invites qualified candidates to join as adjunct and part-time faculty in its GuidedPath and FlexPath programs. The role offers remote teaching with required residencies in the US, typically 3–4 trips annually, ranging from 4 to 12 days per stay.

You will mentor doctoral learners, deliver high-quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum, and participate in doctoral committees in a collaborative university setting.

Qualifications

• EdD, PhD, or PsyD required; degrees from regionally accredited institutions.
• NCSP or psychology licensure may be required depending on track.
• Publication/Research experience at doctoral level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assignments are on an ongoing basis according to expertise and school needs.
• Utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum.
• Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees.
• Utilize professional expertise to provide relevant feedback and ensure successful completion.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone, email, and in the courseroom to ensure learners receive quality feedback.
• Travel within the US to participate in doctoral residencies is required.
• Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the learning experience.
• Establish high standards and ensure learners understand how they will be evaluated.
• Adhere to University policies and procedures.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training as required.
