Job summary

Capella University seeks adjunct and part-time faculty to teach in GuidedPath and FlexPath formats. You will deliver high-quality instruction from pre-designed curricula and mentor doctoral learners.

The role requires availability for timely feedback and occasional travel within the United States for residencies. Qualified candidates hold a master’s degree in social work education and a doctoral degree in a closely related field.

Qualifications

• All degrees must be conferred from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master’s degree from an accredited Council on Social Work Education program is required.
• Doctorate from an accredited institution in social work or related area is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum.
• Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone, email, and courseroom for timely feedback.
• Travel within the US to participate in doctoral residencies.
• Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the learning experience.
• Adhere to University policies and procedures.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training as required.
