Job summary

Capella University seeks adjunct and part-time faculty to teach in GuidedPath and FlexPath programs using asynchronous 10-week courses with quarterly pacing. You will mentor doctoral learners, participate on doctoral committees, and provide timely feedback to support academic success.

Minimum requirements include Ed.D./Ph.D./Psy.D with BCBA/BCBA-D where applicable, strong communication, and effective use of academic technology. Travel for residencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in oral presentation skills and course objective planning.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of academic evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Teach from pre-designed curriculum and mentor doctoral learners.
• Participate in doctoral committees and provide timely feedback.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone, email, and in the courseroom.
• Travel within the US to participate in doctoral residencies.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and required training.
