Job summary

MARC, Inc. of Manchester in Manchester, CT is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, home life, finances and medical needs.

Responsibilities include promoting independence and community involvement, with training provided to ensure quality support. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid CT driver’s license with vehicle, and are willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/PMT and medication certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CT license, auto-registration, and vehicle insurance.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT and Med Certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides staff and natural supports to each person served and implements services.
• Helps individuals participate in their community using natural supports.
• Assists with home, finances, nutrition and medical needs as appropriate.
