MARC, Inc. of Manchester in Manchester, CT is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our Residential Department. This part-time role involves helping people with developmental disabilities in group homes, with hours including nights and weekends.

The position pays $19.75 per hour. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, CT driver’s license with active registration and insurance; CPR, First Aid, PMT and Med Certification are preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CT license, auto-registration and insurance.
• Knowledge of proactive thinking and positive supports.

Responsabilidades

• Provides staff and natural supports to each person served.
• Ensures individuals are involved in their community using natural supports.
• Assists with home, finances, nutrition, and medical needs.
• Collaborates with Group Home Manager on goals.
• Maintains residential standards and rights.
• Attends MARC trainings including CPR and First Aid.
