Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer at Lake Houston Pkwy, Houston, TX. This role features fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enhancing earnings while maintaining work‑life flexibility.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Candidates must be at least 21, possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and have 3+ years of combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years armed

Qualifications

At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and team members while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Conduct armed patrols across retail areas, stockrooms, parking zones and perimeters.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to leadership.
Prepare incident reports and maintain documentation per site procedures.
