Job summary

Northeast Family Services in Medford, MA is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement ABA-based instruction and support development of new skills under supervision. Responsibilities include data collection, monitoring behavior, and reporting to the supervising BCBA while collaborating with families to promote meaningful changes.

This part-time, fee-for-service role requires after-school and evening availability, a high school diploma or GED (or an associates degree in related fields), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 24 months of experience with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, or families
• Associates degree or higher in a related field and 12 months experience with developmental disabilities
• Certification as an RBT (BACB) with 12 months experience with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans under supervision to decrease problematic behavior
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills
• Monitor client behavior and collect data, reporting to supervising BCBA
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to support meaningful behavior changes
