Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks an On-Call Caterer/Driver to support the RISD Caters group. This role offers flexible shifts to supplement income or gain experience in events and catering, including organizing and transporting equipment, supplies, linens, and condiments for on- and off-campus events.

Some basic food preparation may be required, with emphasis on visual presentation and timely service.

Competenze

Valid driver's license required.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Commitment to inclusivity, diversity and equity in responsibilities.
High school diploma.
1–3 years of fast-paced food service experience or equivalent.

Mansioni

Expedite, load, transport, unload and set up food, wares and supplies for catered events, ensuring timely delivery and proper presentation.
Assist with basic food preparation and serving while maintaining safety standards (HAACP).
Participate in inventory and storage management of catering items and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of catering motor vehicles and mileage logs.
Make daily deliveries for catering.
