Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks an On-Call Caterer/Driver to join the RISD Caters group. This on-letter role provides flexible shifts to supplement income and offers hands-on experience in events and catering.

The position involves organizing and transporting equipment, supplies, and other items for catered events on- and off-campus, with responsibilities including set-up, visual presentation, and light-duty vehicle operation. Some basic food preparation may be required.

Formación

• Must hold a valid driver's license and communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and transport catering equipment and supplies for on- and off-campus events.
• Operate light-duty vehicle and maintain mileage logs.
• Assist with basic food preparation and serving as needed.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure items are presented visually to the client.
• Support inventory and upkeep of storage areas and catering vehicles.
