Job summary

Prosperity Training Center seeks an LVN Instructor (DSD) to deliver NATP-certified training in Stockton and surrounding areas. The role covers 60 hours of classroom theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training, conducted between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., under CDPH-approved curriculum and state regulations.

The instructor will teach basic nursing skills, patient safety, and rights, while ensuring compliance, documentation, and student readiness for clinical placement.

Qualifications

• Active California RN or LVN license required.
• Two years nursing experience (RN/LVN) required.
• One year experience planning, implementing and evaluating nursing education programs or 24 hours CE in planning/implementing/evaluating nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
• Create a safe learning environment in classroom and clinic lab.
• Maintain records and student files for 4 years.
• Conduct daily attendance and manage absences/make-up sessions.
• Provide supervised clinical training in a CDPH approved nursing facility.
