Job summary

Prosperity Training Center in California seeks an experienced Nurse Assistant Training Program instructor to deliver NATP modules. The role requires 60 hours of theory classroom training and 100 hours of supervised clinical practice, conducted under CDPH-approved curriculum, with flexible scheduling from 6:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m. Qualifications include an active RN or LVN license in California, at least two years of nursing experience (one year with chronically ill or elderly patients), and

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in California.
• Two years nursing experience (RN, LVN).
• One year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs in nursing (DSD Certification) or 24 hours CE in planning/education completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
• Apply effective teaching strategies in theory and clinical settings.
• Maintain safe learning environment in classroom and clinical lab.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to training site standards.
• Provide student assessments and ensure prerequisites for clinical placement.
• Maintain records and accurate documentation (CDPH forms).
• Coordinate daily attendance and make-up sessions as needed.
• Provide supervised clinical training with student-to-instructor ratio up to 15:1.
