Scoot Education is seeking substitutes to support students and teachers in Los Angeles area classrooms. You will supervise learners, reinforce inclusive practices, and adapt to daily schedules under guidance from Scoot consultants with teaching background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks are required.
• TB risk assessment or test is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions following lesson plans.
