Scoot Education is seeking dedicated substitute educators to support students across classrooms. You will supervise and assist students, helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment while aligning with lesson plans when provided by the teacher.

Ideal candidates hold a teaching credential or permit and may have experience in special education. Candidates can be bilingual. The role offers day-to-day assignments with direct deposit pay and paid training opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits required.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks required.
• TB risk assessment or test may be required.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment; encourage student engagement.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.
