Thom Child & Family Services in Marlborough, MA is hiring an Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention to deliver home and community-based services for infants and toddlers birth to three. The role emphasizes family-centered care, parent coaching, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position includes a salary range of $66,000 to $71,000 annually, eligible for productivity bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services and activities developmentally appropriate for children birth to three and their families using parent coaching model.
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan for each family, ensuring that appropriate procedures and timelines are followed.
• Partner with families in the development of IFSPs to identify goals, objectives, and strategies related to the child’s development.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child's development; assist families to act as advocates for their child.
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence using the Thom electronic documentation system.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or who are at risk for delays.
