Job summary

Global Gourmet Catering is seeking an Event Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team at catered events across the Bay Area. You will prep, cook, plate, and help with event setup and breakdown, ensuring top-quality results.

You’ll travel to venues, maintain food safety, and work with the Event Chef and FOH to deliver exceptional service in fast-paced settings. Seasonal, evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in catering or high-volume kitchens.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items to recipes and standards.
• Set up kitchens and assist with on-site and off-site events.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and timely service.
• Coordinate with the Event Chef and FOH for smooth service.
