Job summary

High Spirits Hospitality is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support the culinary team for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. You will help with prep, service, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and kitchen organization to ensure smooth, safe, and timely event operations.

Ideal candidates are dependable, hardworking, and willing to move between prep, service, and cleaning as business needs change.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, restaurant, catering, banquet, dishwashing, or food service.
• Ability to follow recipes, safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in an event-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, washing, peeling, cutting, labeling, packaging, and assembling ingredients.
• Support culinary team with cooking, reheating, plating, garnishing, packing, and transport readiness.
• Set up and break down buffets, stations, and back-of-house service areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Assist with inventory, stock, and event support duties as needed.
