Job summary

Ambercare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and people with disabilities living at home who need daily assistance. This role involves following care plans, providing personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping and transport for appointments.

The Home Care Aide - Core works five days a week with at least one weekend shift, 40 hours (20 guaranteed) and on-call duties. Candidates must be 18+, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and communicate

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Nurturing, compassionate, self-motivated and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Call office every morning for assignments.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care, meals, laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications and monitor client condition.
• Notify supervisor of any changes in client status.
