Job summary

Ambercare – an Addus family company is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and disabled clients living at home. HCAs follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, and help maintain independence.

Position requires on-call 5 days per week (one weekend day), up to 40 hours weekly (20 hours guaranteed). Must be 18+, pass a criminal background check, have reliable transportation, and communicate well. Compassionate, organized, and dependable team players are preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. locally in NM Bayard area.
• Background check required and successfully completed.
• Reliable transportation to client appointments.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and report completed tasks to supervisor.
• Assist with personal care like bathing and dressing.
• Help with house cleaning, meals, laundry, and errands.
• Transport client to appointments and essential errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications and observe changes.
