Nurse Next Door San Mateo is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide nonmedical in-home care to seniors, helping them live safely at home with flexible hours from 10 to 40 hours per week.

We serve clients across California, offering training and support, with shifts in morning, afternoon, evening and overnight. No prior experience required; meaningful work and the chance to make lives better every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CA Home Care Aide Registry registration.
• Criminal background check completed.
• Entry-level training or plan to complete required.
• Tuberculosis testing clearance.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsabilités

• Follow the care plan outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs within scope of practice.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing and dressing.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Provide meals and accommodate therapeutic diets.
• Remind and assist with medications as directed.
• Record all hours worked and report changes to the administrator.
• Drive to appointments or run errands.
• Participate in entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintain active Home Care Aide registration with the State.
