Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide home-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers and their families across California.

You’ll work in the child’s natural environments, conducting developmental assessments and applying a family-centered coaching approach. The role offers flexible schedules and locations, mileage reimbursement, a tech stipend, and potential benefits for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• California OT license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention).
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to reach developmental goals.
• Build caregivers’ confidence and skills through family-centered coaching.
• Deliver services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare, community).
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and regulations.
