Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team providing early intervention services in infants and toddlers' homes and community settings throughout California.

The role focuses on assessments, IFSP-driven goals, and family coaching to empower caregivers, with flexible schedules and mileage reimbursement. California OT license and pediatric EI experience are preferred, with bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifikationen

• California Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred).
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

Aufgaben

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings).
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and regulations.
