Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings across California. Roles include developmental assessments, family coaching, and IFSP-driven care, with flexible scheduling and travel between sessions.

Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
