CARETenders Westborough, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education under the plan of care.

You will follow state PT guidelines, assist with active and passive exercises, observe patient progress, and educate families. This role supports diverse patients in home care with a focus on health and well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Aufgaben

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and care team
• Educates patient and family on therapy within PTA scope
• Adapt to home environments and patient needs regardless of background
