CARETenders Westborough, part of the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement treatment plans and educate patients in their homes. The role supports health and well-being with a flexible full-time weekday schedule while offering comprehensive benefits.

The PTA will follow the supervising PT's plan, perform exercises, document progress, and coordinate care with the healthcare team, in a role emphasizing caring and connection.

Formación

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising PT, and report changes.
• Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment to the PT, nurse, and physician.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and health care team on therapy within scope of PTA.
• Work effectively in home settings regardless of patient demographics.
