Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to deliver venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices in New York. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensure a welcoming lobby experience, and support both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, a customer-centric approach, and ability to work across offices in a Floater capacity.

Responsibilities

• Use impeccable C‑I‑CARE framework in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid in‑office experience through patient intake, same day schedule management, and follow up scheduling.
• Provide venipuncture services for a broad patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics, depending on the office location.
• Assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, and vitals.
• Maintain high standards of specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
• Respond to patient messages, follow up on lab cases, and assist providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks like medical records and DOH reporting.
• Cover front of house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork, and prepping tests.
• Contribute to team development via rounding, huddles, and problem solving; support in-office providers with ad hoc tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee spaces; restock supplies.
