Job summary

MTI is seeking a Flexible Retail Field & Network Technician to install, maintain, upgrade and repair networks and networked devices across multiple environments. The role requires traveling to various markets, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working with access points, routers, switches, and cabling.

Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of networking technologies are essential, along with excellent communication. Training is provided and certifications are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• All training is provided.
• Previous IT or related technical technician experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60 pounds or more.
• Install and troubleshoot access points, routers and switches.
• Test networks Wi-Fi signals and create heat maps.
• Cabling runs, management, testing and terminating.
• Excellent communication via phone, text and email.
