MTI is hiring a Flexible Retail Field & Network Technician to support our Service Tech US team. The role covers installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repair of networks and networked devices across multiple environments.

You will troubleshoot connections, test Wi‑Fi signals, and assist with cabling and provisioning while traveling to client sites. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Job Title: Flexible Retail Field & Network Technician

Field & Network technicians handle Flexible Project based - implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access point, router, switches, pos systems, printers, and modems. MTI / Sempro Technicians -Set up and troubleshoot connections in many different environments and connect them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Smart Phone mobile device.
• Flexible availability.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.
• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

Competency:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Aptitude for customer support.

Required Education and Experience

• Over the age of 18.
