Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to perform installation, maintenance, and service calls for electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, across a designated territory in the United States. You will respond to customer needs, troubleshoot, and provide effective solutions while coordinating travel and scheduling.

Core duties include preventive maintenance, system overhauls, and service/replacements of networking gear such as access points and switches.

Qualifications

Local candidate to specific geographic area.
Authorized to work in the US.
Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness for prolonged travel and driving several hours per day.

Responsibilities

Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
Act as a first-line response to customers.
Communicate with customers to identify and provide the right solution.
Organize and triage customer issues.
Handle customer problems proactively.
Complete formal training to support customer needs.
Service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches.
