Nextlink Internet is seeking a Traveling Field Installation Technician to perform customer installations, service visits and on-site troubleshooting across multiple states. The role requires extensive travel with two weeks in-market and two weeks out-of-market, climbing towers and configuring customer equipment.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, pass tower certification, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must pass tower certification training program.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel full time to states the company operates in.
• Complete customer installations and service visits.
• Troubleshoot on-site and recover equipment.
• Update databases during site visits.
• Configure routers and customer computers for Internet access.
